"I don't feel I could do a good job if I was conscious of whether I liked the music I was listening to. You're not listening to enjoy it, you're listening for technical problems you need to track down, or behavioural problems within the band that you need to address. You're like a gynaecologist. You've got a naked vagina in front of you but you're not really addressing it in the manner that you would normally address a naked vagina, you got to have a professional relationship with the vagina. So I think it would be unprofessional of me to form an opinion about the music I was working on."
